MKBOOT(8) System Manager's Manual MKBOOT(8)

NAME
       mkboot - makes a bootdisk

SYNOPSYS
       mkboot [kernel]

       mkboot -installkernel

DESCRIPTION
       mkboot makes a bootdisk.

If invoked as mkboot -installkernel, it tries to make a Debian Linux
system bootable after a new kernel is installed. If LILO is in use, it
runs /sbin/lilo. Otherwise, mkboot will make a new bootdisk.

You can specify a kernel for the boot disk on the command line. This
       defaults to /boot/vmlinuz.
